1. The Cell deals with grievances received through telephone, e-mail and post, as also references from various Government Offices such as President’s Secretariat, Prime Minister’s Office, Cabinet Secretariat, Central Vigilance Commission and Parliament Secretariat.

यह प्रकोष्ठ राष्ट्रपति सचिवालय, प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय, मंत्रिमंडल सचिवालय, केंद्रीय सतर्कता आयोग तथा संसद सचिवालय जैसे विभिन्न सरकारी कार्यालयों से तथा टेलीफोन, ई-मेल तथा डाक के माध्यम से प्राप्त शिकायतों का निवारण करता है।

2. Whichever country hosts the Summit has a Secretariat functioning at that point of time but not a permanent Secretariat. It does not seem to be on the agenda as yet.

आसियान सचिवालय वर्ष 2010-15 अवधि के लिए आसियान-भारत कार्य योजना के तहत भारत द्वारा सुझाई गयी 70 मिलियन अमरीकी डॉलर से अधिक मूल्य की परियोजनाओं पर फिलहाल कार्य कर रहा है।

25. I am happy that India took a lead role in creation of SAARCSTAT – a statistical cooperation group under the aegis of SAARC Secretariat – for raising the quality of official statistics and harmonization of statistical system in this region.

मुझे इस बात की खुशी है कि भारत ने सार्क इस्टेट – जो सार्क सचिवालय के तत्वावधान में एक सांख्यिकी सहयोग समूह है – के सृजन में अग्रणी भूमिका निभाई, जिसका उद्देश्य इस क्षेत्र में सरकारी आंकड़ों की गुण्वत्ता में वृद्धि करना और सांख्यिकीय प्रणाली को सुसंगत बनाना है।

The Ministers welcomed the reform proposals of UN Secretary General and encouraged him to address the need for reform in other areas, including ensuring adequate geographical representation in the Secretariat, especially at higher levels, reviewing the funding and backstopping arrangements for special political missions, and strengthening the role of regional commissions.

मंत्रियों ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव के सुधार प्रस्तावों का स्वागत किया और उन्हें अन्य क्षेत्रों में सुधार की आवश्यकता को संबोधित करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया, जिसमें सचिवालय में पर्याप्त भौगोलिक प्रतिनिधित्व सुनिश्चित करना, विशेष रूप से उच्च स्तर पर, विशेष राजनीतिक मिशनों के लिए धन प्रदान करने और अवरोध करने की व्यवस्था की समीक्षा और क्षेत्रीय कमीशन की भूमिका को मजबूती प्रदान करना शामिल है।

27. At the Nagoya Protocol Workshop held in New Delhi on 4-5 September 2012, National Biodiversity Authority (NBA), Chennai, the ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity (ACB), Manila have agreed to develop a detailed project proposal, including a work plan and budget for consideration under the AIGF for organizing workshops, seminars/conferences, exchange visits, providing scholarships for professionals working in the field of biodiversity in the ASEAN region to spread awareness on ABS.

आसियान – भारत क्षेत्र में जलवायु परिवर्तन पर क्षेत्रीय कार्यक्रम तैयार करने पर एक विशेषज्ञ बैठक 27-28 जून, 2012 को बंगलौर, भारत में आयोजित की गई जिसका उद्देश्य 4 मुख्य क्षेत्रों में सहयोगात्मक गतिविधियों के लिए विस्तृत कार्य योजना तैयार करना था।
